I've watched the right wing in its full spectrum since 2004, from conservative Democrats to admitted fascists. In the short number of years that have passed since 2004, and even 2012, the American right has changed—but in many ways, it's just become more open about what it's been all along. I have sympathy for the right, and I even spent years defending them, but I'm done pretending the monster of the right is still a legitimate political choice. The time is long overdue for me type up my findings.
